The Journal of Contemplative Studies

The Journal of Contemplative Studies (JCS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Contemplative Sciences Center at the University of Virginia. The journal publishes original research and scholarship on topics related to contemplative practices with a focus on humanistic studies and transdisciplinary scholarship with a humanistic core.

The Executive Board is excited to announce that the Journal of Contemplative Studies (JCS) is open to accept the following submissions: Research Articles, Special Issues, Book Reviews, Community News and Research Notes for the JCS Blog.

Special Issues

JCS invites Special Issues that are thematically focused and curated by guest editors.
